Our History & Experience

Education Consulting Partners was founded in September 2020 with a mission to support educators in delivering high-quality, research-based instruction. Launching remotely, we provided virtual classroom visits and coaching sessions to teachers and schools navigating the challenges of online and hybrid learning. Since then, we have continuously worked with 6-12 teachers across New York City, offering hands-on, job-embedded coaching and strategic professional development.

Our team of lead consultants brings extensive expertise to every partnership, with more than 13 years of consulting experience and over 25 years as educators. We are committed to working side by side with teachers and administrators to create meaningful, lasting improvements in literacy and instruction. As a certified NYC MWBE business and an approved NYCDOE vendor, we streamline the bid process, making it easier for schools and districts to partner with us for professional learning and coaching services.

Kristen Gripp, Founder & Lead Consultant

Kristen Gripp is the founder and lead consultant of Education Consulting Partners. With over 20 years of experience in education, she has dedicated her career to improving literacy outcomes and advancing equity for all students. Kristen holds a master’s degree in reading at the secondary level and spent 13 years as a middle and high school ELA teacher before transitioning into educational consulting.

Prior to launching Education Consulting Partners, Kristen worked with New York City’s top Education Consulting company for 10 years, supporting schools across New York City and New Jersey. She specializes in designing and implementing engaging instructional practices, coaching teachers in research-based literacy strategies, and guiding school leaders in developing systems that drive sustainable change. Her hands-on, collaborative approach empowers educators to refine their practice, improve student achievement, and cement their sense of efficacy.
